• Description: Giuseppe Pastore was one of the artists selected by Dr. Milena Crupi, artistic director of the Biennale, to exhibit in a mini solo show from August 6 to 13, 2017, at Castello Ducale di Corigliano Calabro. The event involved about thirty artists and was supported by Regione Calabria, Comune di San Demetrio Corone, Comune di Corigliano, and Comune di Rossano. It featured artists of national and international fame, sometimes outside competition.

• Type: Contemporary Art and Culture Competition.

• Description: The creative content for the contest was based on the Volkswagen automobile in its various forms, models, and contexts. It included historical, current, and innovative models, presented in any location, moving or static, as details or isolated parts, objects, with people, animals, plants, and more. The car was treated as a memory and/or a source of inspiration. Giuseppe Pastore participated and won third place.

• Type: Selection exhibition for the 11th International Art Biennale of Rome.

• Description: An important collective exhibition held from August 10 to 16, 2016, at S. Bernardino in Rossano, featuring artists in painting, sculpture, graphics, photography, and digital art from Cosenza and Reggio Calabria provinces.

• Event: Concorso ‘Radice’

• Type: Contemporary art and culture competition organized by Liqmag (Contemporary Art Magazine) in collaboration with Liquirizia AMARELLI.

• Description: The “RADICE” contest, under the patronage of the Italian Pavilion at EXPO 2015, aimed to interpret the relationship between people and their territory through various contemporary artistic and cultural languages—subjectively representing environment, food, art, culture, customs, history, and tradition.
  The magazine LIQMAG, specifically issue no. 9 "RADICE", scheduled for late June, was exhibited at EXPO Milano 2015 in the Italy Pavilion, featuring the works selected through the contest.
  Giuseppe Pastore was one of the winners with his painting 'Radici delle parole, parole delle radici', which included a creative writing text and the artwork 'Radici liquide'.

• Event: Premio Nazionale di Pittura “Ermes” – II^ Edizione

• Type: Painting competition within the Galarte XVII^ edition.

• Description: Held under the patronage of the Presidency of the Republic, the Senate of the Republic, and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, at the Museo del Presente in Rende (CS). Closing on April 24, 2015, with a collective exhibition of selected works.
  Giuseppe Pastore received a special mention for his piece 'Opening'.

• Type: Painting exhibition.

• Description: Presented by ACAV Associazione Culturale Arti Visive, curated by Dr.ssa Marilena Morabito. The exhibition took place at various locations in Rende, San Fili (CS), and Marsala (TP).
